Our company is a Registered Training Organisation. Our courses focus upon the delivery of health, aged care and personal support. ACC Services offers courses and training in the following: · Certificate II in Community Services. · Certificate III in Home and Community Care. · Certificate III in Aged Care.
. Transport Clients (statement of attainment)
· Assist clients with medication administration (statement of attainment). We aim to provide quality education and training services based upon 35 years of experience in both the public, private, community and military sectors of the health care industry. Students will have access to a newly completed training room and simulation mannequins and models. Our courses are based on practical experience from 35 years in the health arena and will be tailored to suit an employer’s and employee’s needs. We aim to be flexible in the delivery of our courses in an effort to promote lifelong learning, access and equality in education and training. We are able to provide training and education, Tasmania wide and can provide access to web based distance learning services. Our assessors are experienced practicing Registered Nurses who will guide you in reality based information.
Support Worker Credentialing(Skill set training) ( non national recognition)
Have you persons with complex needs living at home or in your facility? Equip the support workers with education from a Registered Nurse in supervised skills that will protect both workers and patient from injury and distress.
Credentialing can be done with groups of up to 10 people with prior knowledge or skills. For carers without prior knowledge or skills, groups of up to 5 are recommended. Medication theory can be delivered to groups of 20.
Credentialing skills include: (Certificate of proficiency)
2. SPC/IDC management/monitoring
3. Gastrostomy & Nasogastric tube feeding
4. Medication administration and monitoring
5. Oxygen therapy
6. Oral/Pharyngeal suctioning
7. Ostomy managment (trache/colost/ileost)
- Seizure management
- Rectal valium
- Oral/Nasal midazolam
- Epipen administration
